Spark plugs
« on: August 10, 2014, 07:53:08 PM »
Hi everyone.  I was wondering if I could get some opinions on spark plugs. I have a 88 Advance running what I believe to be a stock standard Indmar/ford 351 with a prestolight distributor. I have been using the NGK-BPR6FS and was wondering if I would be better off using the AUTOLIGHT 24.
Thanks and kind regards Jono. :)

The Owners manual calls for BTF3M plugs (Autolite)

I've always been a believer in using Autolite in Ford's. AC in Chevy's and Champion in Chrysler's. That's how they came from factory.

I've personally never had good luck with NGKs in anything but two stroke engines.
When people run down to the lake to see what is making that noise, you've succeeded.

:)Thanks for the input gentlemen... I have ordered the Autolight 24.
I get most of my parts from Discount Inboard Marine, are there any other good suppliers in the US that ship international?
Thanks again Jono.

American Skier Boats via SkiBoatPartsOnline.com  web site only accepts & processes domestic US shipping, international orders are done via email to calculate proper shipping rates.
